Florida Weekend Day 2B (January 30, 2011)

As the sun set on Fort De Soto, Anne and I made our way to the eastern end where the road ends and the beach gives a clear view of the Sunshine Skyway. As is typical of Florida sunsets, we were not disappointed!

As we sat on the beach, these Least Sandpipers flew in, not 10 meters away from us. They squatted down amidst the debris at the tide-line and tucked in for the night.
